    Adegelon® stimulates the reparative processes in the cornea of ​​the eye, promoting the activation of fibroblastic elements, prevents the development of the inflammatory process, the proliferation of scar tissue, the growth of blood vessels in the cornea.

    Adagelone's pharmacological action is due to its ability to modulate the adhesion interactions of cells of mesenchymal origin, as well as its ability to inhibit the processes of lipid peroxidation, which can be considered as a universal mechanism of damage to cell membrane structures under various pathological conditions, the action of extreme factors, and aging.

    In case of burn damage to the eyes, the therapeutic effect of Adgeelon® is noted by the 14th day and is accompanied by a significant proliferation of fibroblastic elements infiltrating injured corneum tissue, while the vector orientation of proliferating cells imitates the initial morphological structure of the cornea.

    The drug is non-toxic, does not adversely affect the eye tissues and the body as a whole, does not cause an allergic reaction of the tissue with prolonged use.

    Indications:

    Keratopathy and erosion of the cornea, keratitis, including herpetic and adenoviral, eye burns, penetrating corneal wounds.

    Contraindications:

    Individual hypersensitivity to one of the components of the drug.

    Pregnancy and lactation:There are no data on the use of the drug in pregnant women and during lactation.
    Dosing and Administration:

    In the conjunctival sac of the affected eye, 1-2 drops 3-6 times a day for at least 14 days.

    In especially severe cases, the drug is used every 2 hours for the first 3-7 days.

    Side effects:

    There may be allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Due to the low concentration of the drug and its insignificant absorption, the possibility of an overdose is unlikely.

    Interaction:

    Perhaps Adelion's treatment® together with other ophthalmic preparations, disinfecting drops and solutions of antibiotics.

    Special instructions:

    Before using Adegelon® it is necessary to remove contact lenses and re-install them 15 minutes after instillationpreparation.
