Characteristic

Rhizomes of aura contain essential oil, bitter glycoside, acorin, starch, resins, tannins, ascorbic acid and other biologically active substances.

Description:
Pieces of rhizomes of various shapes passing through a sieve with apertures measuring 7 mm. Color yellowish or pinkish, sometimes grayish green.

The smell is strong, fragrant, characteristic. The taste of water extract is spicy-bitter.

    • Pharmacodynamics:Irritating the taste receptors of the mucous membranes of the mouth and tongue, the infusion-rhizomes of the aura reflexively increases the secretion of gastric juice, increases appetite and improves digestion. It has spasmolytic, anti-inflammatory, choleretic and diuretic effects.
    Indications:They are used as a means to increase appetite and improve digestion in complex therapy for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (including chronic gastritis, dyspeptic disorders, biliary dyskinesia, chronic cholecystitis).
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug.Pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children's age (up to 12 years).
    Dosing and Administration:
    About 10 g (2 tablespoons) of crushed rhizomes are placed in enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed . The volume of the infusion obtained is brought to boiling water to 200 ml.
    Take inside in a warm form for 1/4 cup 3-4 times a day for 30 minutes before meals. The course of treatment 2 -3 weeks. Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:Allergic reactions are possible.
    Overdose:Cases of overdose have not been registered to date.

    Special instructions:The drug has no effect on the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving, working with moving mechanisms).
