Composition:

Composition of the preparation in g / 100 g

Active substance: the Adriatic Sea water is 25 g.

Excipients: dexpanthenol 75 L [not less than 75% dexpanthenol] * - 1.33 g; purified water - 73.67 g.

* Dexpanthenol 75L - an aqueous solution containing not less than 75% (K) - panthenol, stabilized approximately 1% D-pentolactone.

Does not contain preservatives.

Presence of ions:

Na+ - min. 1.90 mg / ml;

Ca2+ - min. 0.06 mg / ml;

Mg2+ - min. 0.25 mg / ml;

Cl - - min. 4.10 mg / ml;

S042 -- - min. 0.45 mg / ml;

Pharmacodynamics:
Aqua Maris® Plus is a sterile isotonic solution containing seawater and dexpanthenol.

Dexpanthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid. Pantothenic acid - a water soluble vitamin B complex - is an integral part of coenzyme A. Dexpanthenol stimulates the regeneration of the mucous membrane, normalizes the cellular metabolism, has a regenerating and weak anti-inflammatory effect.

When injected into the nasal cavity, Aqua Maris® Plus moisturizes the mucous membrane, stimulates regeneration and exerts a trophic effect on the cells of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity.The drug promotes the liquefaction of mucus and the normalization of its production in goblet cells of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity.

Microelements included in the preparation improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses.

Indications:

- For the treatment and prevention of atrophic and subatrophic rhinitis;

- for cleansing and moisturizing the nasal mucosa with inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, nasal sinuses and nasopharynx, including (for pregnant women and during lactation;

- in the complex therapy of allergic and vasomotor rhinitis (especially to people who are predisposed or who suffer from hypersensitivity to medicines, including pregnant women and during lactation);

- to prevent infections of the nasal cavity in the autumn-winter period (including to pregnant women and during lactation);

- patients suffering from dryness of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and to persons living and working in air-conditioned rooms and / or central heating, in order to preserve the physiological characteristics of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity in altered microclimatic conditions;

- To people, the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory ways of which is constantly exposed to harmful influences (smokers, drivers of motor transport, people working in hot and dusty shops, and also in regions with severe climatic conditions);

- Older people to prevent age-related atrophic changes in the nasal mucosa.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Dosing and Administration:

With curative purposes:

-children from 1 year to 7 years: 4 times a day, two injections into each nasal passage;

-7 children from 7 to 16 years: 4-6 times a day for two injections into each nasal passage;

children with 16 years and adults: 4-8 times a day for two to three injections into each nasal passage.

The course of treatment in all cases is 2-4 weeks (at the discretion of the attending physician). It is recommended to repeat the course in a month.

With preventive purposes:

- Children from 1 year to 7 years: 1 - 3 times a day, one - two injections in each nasal passage;

- children from 7 to 16 years: 2 - 4 times a day, two injections into each nasal passage;

- Children from 16 years of age and adults: 3 to 6 times a day for two to three injections into each nasal passage.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Overdose:Cases of overdose are not marked.
Interaction:

Since the drug does not have systemic effects on the body, interactions with other drugs have not been noted. Possible use with other drugs used to treat colds.

Special instructions:

It is not recommended to be used outdoors in the cold season, it is not recommended to leave the warm room on the street immediately after application of the drug in the cold season.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms.

Form release / dosage:

Spray nasal.

Packaging:For 30 ml of the preparation in a glass bottle of dark color, equipped with a spray device and a protective cap made of propylene. One bottle together with the instruction for use is placed in a cardboard box.
Storage conditions:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C in a place inaccessible to children.

Shelf life:

2 years.

Do not use after the expiration date.
