Composition:

The sterile hypertonic solution of the Adriatic Sea water is 100%. Does not contain preservatives.

Presence of ions:

Sodium (Na +) - not less than 7.50 mg / ml;

Calcium (Ca2 +) -not less than 0.25 mg / ml;
Potassium (K +) - not less than 0.20 mg / ml;
Magnesium (Mg2 +) - not less than 1.00 mg / ml;
Chlorides (Cl-) - not less than 16.50 mg / ml;
Sulphates (SO4 2-) - not less than 1.80 mg / ml
Hydrocarbonates (HCO3-) - not less than 0.10 mg / ml;
Bromides (Br-) - not less than 0.04 mg / ml.
Description:Transparent colorless solution with a weak specific odor.

Pharmacodynamics:

Aqua Maris Strong is a hypertonic sterile solution of sea water. Hypertensive solution provides a reduction in edema of the nasal mucosa due to the removal of excess fluid from the intercellular space due to the difference in osmotic pressure.

It is used for inflammatory diseases of the nose, nasal sinuses and nasopharynx for elimination of edema of the mucous membrane, as a "natural decongestant".

Has an antibacterial effect.

Aqua Maris Strong cleanses viruses and bacteria from the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, improves local immunity, has a local anti-inflammatory effect.

Microelements, which are part of the drug,improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses.

Indications:

MARIS STRING is shown:

- to eliminate the edema of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, especially those suffering from hypersensitivity to chemical drugs, including pregnant women and during lactation.

- for the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, accessory sinuses and nasopharynx - such as: acute and chronic rhinitis; acute and chronic sinusitis; nasopharyngitis;

- Acute and chronic sinusitis.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Dosing and Administration:

for children from 1 year and adults for 1 -2 injections into each nostril 3-4 times a day for 2 weeks.

Side effects:

A feeling of discomfort in the nasal cavity at the beginning of the reception.

Overdose:

Cases of overdose are not marked.

Interaction:

Since the drug does not have systemic effects on the body, interactions with other drugs have not been noted.Possible use with other drugs used to treat colds.

Special instructions:

Precautionary measures

Use with caution with frequent nasal bleeding.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

Aqua Maris Strong has no influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms.

Form release / dosage:

Spray nasal.

Packaging:For 30 ml of the preparation in a glass bottle of dark color, equipped with a spray device and a protective cap made of propylene. One bottle together with the instruction for use is placed in a cardboard box.
Storage conditions:

Store at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C, out of the reach of children.

Shelf life:

3 year from the date of manufacture.

Do not use after the expiration date.

Use within 45 days after opening the vial.
