Pharmacodynamics:Combined preparation of plant origin. The liquorice extract has an expectorant effect, primarily due to the presence of glycyrrhizin, which enhances the secretory function of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract.Extract of thermopsis has an expectorant effect, having a moderate irritant effect on the receptors of the gastric mucosa, reflexively increases the secretion of the bronchial glands. Contained in the grass of thermopsis alkaloids (methylcytisin, pachycarpine, anagyrin, thermopsin, thermopsidin) exert a stimulating effect on the respiratory, and in high doses on the vomiting centers.
Potassium bromide reduces the excitability of the central nervous system.
Ammonium chloride exerts an expectorant, diuretic effect.
