Composition:

Description:
Powder from light gray to dark gray with black coal particles and possible splashes of beige color with a faint smell of fermented milk.

  • Antidiarrhoeal preparations of biological origin regulating the balance of intestinal microflora
    • Pharmacodynamics:The action of the drug due to high concentration of particles adsorbed on activated charcoal bifidobacteria (Bifidobacterium bifidum), which are antagonists of a wide spectrum of pathogens (shigella, salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus and others.) And conditionally pathogenic microorganisms (proteus, klebsiella and others.). Microcolonies sorbed bifidobacteria provide rapid restoration of the normal microflora, which, being naturally biosorbents, accumulates in a large amount falling outside or generated in an organism toxic substances. Sorbed bifidobacteria activates the regenerative processes in the mucosal membrane digestion, the synthesis of vitamins and amino acids, strengthens the immune defense of the body.
    Indications:
    - Dysbacteriosis of the intestine of various etiologies (including those caused by taking antibiotics, antibacterial drugs,
    glucocorticosteroid hormones, drugs that exert ulcerogenic effects on the gastrointestinal tract),
    - Acute intestinal infections established (shigellosis, salmonellosis, staphylococcal enterocolitis, rotavirus infection) and unidentified etiology,
    - food poisoning.
    In the complex therapy of diseases accompanied by intestinal dysbiosis:
    - chronic diseases with lesions of the gastrointestinal tract (peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, liver and bile duct diseases, chronic constipation, malabsorption syndrome),
    - allergic diseases,
    - pneumonia, acute and chronic bronchitis.
    - acute respiratory viral infections,
    - Infectious mononucleosis,
    - inflammatory diseases of the urogenital tract,
    patients with surgical profile in the period of preoperative preparation and after operations on the intestine, liver, pancreas for correction of intestinal microbiocenosis and prevention of purulent-inflammatory diseases.

    The drug is used for prevention:
    - intra-hospital infections in maternity hospitals and hospitals,
    - dysbacteriosis in children and adults who are often ill with ARI.
    Contraindications:Congenital insufficiency of lactase. Impaired absorption of glucose-galactose.
    Pregnancy and lactation:The drug is approved for use in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. There are no special reception conditions.
    Dosing and Administration:
    The drug is used for children from birth (including premature), adults of all age groups.
    Depending on the severity of diseases Bifidumbacterin forte is used in usual or increased doses. Bifidumbacterin forte with therapeutic purposes in usual doses:
    children up to 1 year for 1 package 2-3 times a day, children from 1 year and older 1 package 3-4 times a day,
    - adults 2 packages 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment for acute intestinal infections and food toxic infections 5-7 days, with other diseases 15-21 days (determined by the nature and severity of the disease). If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated 2-3 times, each course is carried out one month after the end of the previous course of treatment.
    Patients with surgical pathology - within 3-5 days before the operation and within 10-15 days after the operation:
    children up to 1 year in 1 package 3 times a day,
    - children from 1 year and older but 1 package 3-4 times a day,
    - adults 2 packages 3 times a day.
    Bifidumbacterin forte with therapeutic purposes in increased doses prescribed for children from 1 year and adults. In acute intestinal infection and acute respiratory viral infection from the first day of the disease:
    - children 5 packs 6 times a day,
    - adults 10 packages 3 times a day.
    The course of treatment is 1-3 days, depending on the severity of the condition.
    With infectious mononucleosis:
    - children up to 3 years but 3 packages 3 times a day, 5 days course; then 3 packages once a night, a course of 5 days,
    - children from 3 to 7 years old, 4 packages 3 times a day, 5 days course; then 4 packages once a night, a course of 5 days,
    - children from 7 to 10 years but 6 packages 3 times a day, 5 days course; then 6 packages once in the evening, the course is 5 days.
    - children older than 10 years for 7-8 packages 3 times a day, 5 days course; then 7-8 packages once a night, a course of 5 days.
    In chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract:
    - children 5 packs 1-3 times a day,
    - adults 10 packages 1 -3 times a day. The course of treatment is 10-14 days.
    Patients with diabetes should take into account that in 5 packages of the drug contains 0.35 XE.
    With preventive purposes, children under 1 year of age in 1 package 1 time per day, all the rest 1-2 packages 1-2 times a day.Preventive course spend 10-15 days 2-3 times a year.
    Bifidumbacterin forte is taken during meals, if necessary, regardless of food intake. The preparation is mixed with liquid food before use, preferably with a sour-milk product, or with a small amount of boiled water at room temperature to obtain a slurry with black sorbent particles. The resulting suspension (suspension) should be drunk without achieving complete dissolution. Newborns and infants, the drug can be mixed with mother's milk or a mixture for artificial feeding.
    Side effects:Not installed.
    Overdose:Cases of overdose were not observed.
    Interaction:At simultaneous reception Bifidumbacterin forte with vitamins (especially group B) action of a preparation amplifies. When taking antibiotics, the recommended interval between taking an antibiotic and Bifidumbacterium forte is 3-4 hours.
