Locally. Mechanically remove the wound detritus with the subsequent washing of the wound surface, after which sterile gauze wipes with "Biopin 5%" ointment are applied. Change of dressings is carried out daily or every other day, depending on the degree of impregnation of napkins with a wound discharge.
The dose of the drug depends on the size of the wound surface and on average ranges from 2 to 5 grams per wound area of 5x5 cm. In cases of extensive wounds and good individual tolerance, it is permissible to use large amounts of ointment, but not more than 100 g.
After removing the dressing, a small amount of wax remains on the skin around the wound,which is a kind of protective shaft of healthy skin areas from the damaging effect of wound detachable, which is especially important in the treatment of intestinal fistula, extensive trophic ulcers and post-traumatic wounds.
Treatment is continued until the symptoms of inflammation and (or) epithelization of the wound permanently disappear.
