Beta-alanine is an amino acid. Counteracts the rapid release of histamine, but does not have antihistaminic activity due to the absence of blockade of HI-receptors.
Beta-alanine has a direct effect on cutaneous peripheral vasodilation, which causes vegetative "hot flashes", a feeling of heat, heat, a headache. At the physiological level, vasomotor "hot flashes" are caused by the activity of thermoregulatory centers in the hypothalamus, leading to peripheral cutaneous vasodilation. This is a consequence of the reactions that occur when the balance of cerebral neurotransmitters is violated, which occurs after the cessation of the secretion of hormones by the ovaries. The drug helps saturate the peripheral receptors of neurotransmitters, which are involved in this process.
