Composition:

1 suppository (one dose) contains:

Active component: not less than 107 live lactobacilli.

Excipients:

Special Purpose Fat "SolPro" confectionary - (75,0-85,0)%;

Paraffin oil hard grade P-2 - (5-10)%;

Emulsifier Solid-2 (T-2) - (5-10)%;

Components of the protective environment for drying (gelatin food - (0,5-1,5)%, sucrose (sugar) - (5,0-7,0)%, skimmed milk or milk natural cow (in terms of dry matter) - ( 1.0-2.5)%).

Description:

Suppositories from white to light beige, torpedo or cylindrical; Color heterogeneity in the form of inclusions or "marbling" is allowed.

    Characteristics of the preparation

    The preparation is a microbial mass of a living, antagonistically active strain Lactobacillus plantarum 8P-A3 lyophilized in a culture medium with the addition of a protective drying medium (sucrose-gelatin-lactic) and molded into a suppository.

    Pharmacological properties

    Lactobacterin has a high antagonistic activity against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microbes, including staphylococci, enteropathogenic coliforms, proteins, which determines the corrective effect of the drug in cases of bacteriocenosis disorders.
    Indications:

    Kolpita (except gonococcal, trichomonas and candidiasis) - the drug is prescribed as an independent agent or after the end of the course of antibacterial therapy.

    Vaginal dysbiosis that accompanies the inflammatory processes of the cervix, body and appendages of the uterus - after the end of the course of antibiotic therapy.

    Preparing for routine gynecological operations to prevent postoperative infectious complications.

    Prenatal preparation of pregnant women at risk for development of purulent-septic complications.

    Contraindications:

    Vulvovaginal candidiasis.

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Pregnancy and lactation:Allowed.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Applied intravaginally in obstetric-gynecological practice. Before packing, the packaging material is removed from the suppository.

    In the treatment of colpitis and dysbiosis of the vagina Lactobacterin is prescribed for 1-2 suppositories 1 time per day for 5-8 days under the control of the restoration of purity of the vaginal secretion to I-II degree and disappearance of clinical symptoms of inflammation (if necessary, the course can be continued up to 10-12 days).

    For the purpose of prevention purulent-septic complications Apply 1 suppository 1 time per day for 5-7 days before the proposed operation or delivery.

    Side effects:

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose are not registered.

    Interaction:

    Application Lactobacterin, suppositories vaginal, possibly in combination with other medicinal products.

    It is not recommended to combine with simultaneous local administration of antibacterial drugs because of the possible decrease in therapeutic effectiveness.
