Composition:

The rhizomes of the tentacle contain tannic substances, saponins, resinous substances, flavonoids, phenolcarbonic acids, starch, etc.

Description:

Pieces of rhizomes of indefinite form from reddish to dark brown with interspersions of yellow, yellowish brown or almost black. The smell is weak, fragrant. The taste of water extract is astringent.

    • Pharmacodynamics:Decoction (infusion) from the rhizomes of cinquefoil has astringent and anti-inflammatory effect.
    Indications:

    Applied internally with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (diarrhea, enteritis, colitis); externally - in the form of rinses during inflammatory processes of the oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis, sore throats).

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug.
    Dosing and Administration:

    1 filter bag is placed in a glass or enamelware, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and insist at room temperature for 30 minutes. Filter packs are squeezed, the volume of the obtained infusion is brought to boiling water to 100 ml.

    Inside infusion take 0.5 cup (100 ml) 3 times a day.

    Outwardly infusion is used to rinse the mouth.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Long-term use of large doses can cause loss of appetite, constipation.
