Pharmacodynamics:

Combination drug for topical application in otolaryngology.

Lidocaine has an analgesic effect when applied topically.

Phenazone has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect, reduces the onset of anesthetic effect of lidocaine, increases its severity and duration.

Pharmacokinetics:

After instillation in the ear, the anesthetic effect begins in 5 minutes and reaches a maximum after 15-30 minutes.

After instillation components of the drug do not enter the bloodstream and do not have a systemic effect.

Indications:

It is used for local symptomatic treatment and pain relief for acute otitis media, otitis due to barotrauma and otitis in case of influenza.

Contraindications:

Perforation of the tympanic membrane due to trauma or infection, individual intolerance.

Carefully:

Hypersensitivity.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Recommendations for FDA - Category B. It is used during pregnancy and lactation.

Dosing and Administration:

By 4 drops in the external auditory meatus 2-3 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is not more than 10 days.

Side effects:

Irritation and congestion of the auditory canal, allergic reactions.

Overdose:

Cases of overdose are not described.

Treatment is symptomatic.

Interaction:

Clinically significant interactions are not described.

Special instructions:

Possible use in infants.

After opening the vial the drug is suitable for re-use.
