    Pharmacodynamics:

    Inductor of endogenous interferon. It regulates water-salt balance, promotes the regeneration of the cornea.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    It is absorbed into the conjunctiva of the eyes and has a local therapeutic effect.

    Indications:

    Used for viral conjunctivitis, keratouveitis caused by viruses of the family Herpesviridae and adenoviruses. A remedy for conjunctival regeneration after surgical interventions, with burns and eye injuries, dystrophic changes of the cornea. Removes eye fatigue after prolonged stress, including those associated with wearing contact lenses.

    Contraindications:

    Individual intolerance.

    Carefully:

    It is used with caution in children, pregnant and lactating - there is no evidence of ingestion into breast milk.

    Dosing and Administration:

    With local treatment - instillation of the eyes 3-8 times a day for 10 days.

    For subconjunctival and parabulbar injections: from 0.3 to 0.5 ml per course of 3-15 injections.

    The highest daily dose is 1 ml.

    The highest single dose is 0.5 ml.

    Side effects:

    Redness of the eyelids, hyperemia sclera.

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Not described. Treatment - washing the eyes with clean running water.

    Interaction:

    The use of the drug is not dependent on food intake, there were no complications in taking alcohol during treatment.

    Potentiates the effect of antiviral (acyclovir, agnciclovir) and antibacterial (eye drops of levomycetin, eye tetracycline ointment) funds.

    Not compatible with sulfonamides for topical use. Sulfanilamides replace aminobenzoic acid, blocking its effect.

    Special instructions:

    In severe keratoconjunctivitis, injections are given once a day with subsequent installations in the conjunctival sac.

    The drug does not cause dysbiosis.

    It is used by persons using contact vision correction.
