Corresponds to the gestational age

Note:
Determination of the biophysical profile of the fetus
At present, the so-called fetal biophysical profile (BFBP) is used to assess the fetal condition. The definition of the BFBP for obtaining objective information is possible already from the beginning of the third trimester of pregnancy.
Each parameter is evaluated in points from 0 (anomaly) to 2 (norm). The scores are summarized and the fetal status indicator is obtained.
- The score of 8-12 points to the normal state of the fetus.
- BFPP score of 6-7 points indicates a dubious condition of the fetus.
- The sum of scores 4-5 and less - the index of pronounced intrauterine fetal hypoxia, indicates a high risk of perinatal complications.
