Composition:Chamomile flowers.
Description:

A mixture of crushed chamomile flower particles of a diverse yellowish-green color withwhite impregnations, passing through a sieve with holes of 2 mm in size. Smell weak fragrant. The taste of water extract is spicy, bitter, with a sensation of mucous.

Characteristic:

They contain essential oil, flavonoids, coumarins, organic acids, ascorbic acid, carotene, gums, polysaccharides, bitter, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Has anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic and moderate antimicrobial effect, reduces the processes of fermentation in the intestine, increases the secretion of digestive glands.

    Indications:

    Infusion of chamomile flowers is used internally in complex therapy for chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, chronic enteritis, chronic colitis, flatulence, intestinal spasms, diarrhea.

    Local rinses are used in complex therapy for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs and oral cavity (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis).

    In the form of microclystia is used for spastic colitis, hemorrhoids.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Powder. 2 filter bags are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and insist for 15 minutes periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 100 ml with boiled water. Inside the infusion take 2-3 tablespoons 2-3 times a day.

    For rinses of the oral cavity and pharynx use 1 / 2-1 glass infusion 3-5 times a day in a warm form.

    In the form of an enema, 50 ml of warm infusion is introduced into the rectum.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
