    Tizol® - titanium glycerosolvata aquacomplex, is a metal complex compound.

    As a metal compound Tysol® is sterile and has an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effect. Tizol® accelerates the reparative processes in the skin and reduces inflammatory phenomena (erythema, swelling, infiltration), contributes to the disappearance of itching. The presence of bound molecules of glycerin and titanium atom in the Tysol® molecule provides a protective and dehydrating, decongestant, local analgesic effect.

    In the Tisol molecule, the titanium atom, chemically bound to glycerol, is the complexing center for the fragments composing the drug molecule: glycerin and water. This interaction determines the gel structure of Tizol®, which ensures its conductivity through biological tissues and its pharmacological properties. Tizol® promotes the conduct of medicinal substances through the skin and mucous membranes.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    With external application, Tysol is rapidly absorbed, distributed in the skin, subcutaneous tissue and underlying tissues. It is not metabolized. Isolated unchanged kidney 42%, through the intestine 48%, sweat glands 6.2%, through the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract 3.8%. The speed of elimination of the drug is 20-24 hours. It does not accumulate in the body.

    Indications:

    - Bursitis, arthritis, tendonitis, tendovaginitis;

    - psoriasis, neurodermatitis, seborrheic eczema, dermatitis, scleroderma, red flat lichen;

    - as a local radioprotector with radiotherapy;

    - as a conductor of medicines.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to Tysol®, acute inflammatory diseases of the skin and mucous membranes, purulent wounds with pronounced exudation.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    There is insufficient data on the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Locally and externally.

    Apply to the affected skin and mucous membranes with a thin layer 1-3 times a day. The course of treatment is individual, depends on the severity of the disease, localization and severity of the process. The effect of the drug comes during the first week of treatment.Possible repeated courses of treatment and prolonged use for 2-3 months.

    When the drug is used as a local radioprotective agent for protection against radiation damage, Tizol® is applied a thin layer on the irradiation area before and 12 hours after the session. After application it is necessary to exclude contact with clothing, do not use occlusive dressings. If there is a local radiation reaction, the drug is used until it disappears.

    Side effects:

    Rarely, in the first minutes after application to the skin or mucous membranes, tingling, tingling, a feeling of tightness, passing on their own and not requiring the drug cancellation is possible.

    With individual sensitivity, local allergic reactions are possible. In this case, the use of Tisol® is stopped.
