Pharmacodynamics:Combined drug. Has antiseptic, astringent, adsorbing, drying effect. Reduces exudation and wetting, removes and prevents irritation and inflammation of the skin.
Zinc oxide causes precipitation of proteins of microorganisms. Talcum, starch provide water absorption.
Pharmacokinetics:When applied externally, it is practically not adsorbed into the systemic circulation and does not show a resorptive effect.
Indications:Diaper rash; dermatitis.

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; acute purulent-inflammatory disease.
Pregnancy and lactation:Category by FDA is not defined. Possible use during pregnancy and lactation according to the indications and under the supervision of a doctor.
Dosing and Administration:Locally. For the prevention of diaper rash in children, powdered baby powder is applied to the areas of the body,which are in prolonged contact with wet laundry.
With a rash, dermatitis, the powder is applied a thin layer on the affected areas of the skin.
Side effects:With increased sensitivity to the drug, itching, hyperemia, and rash are possible.
Overdose:Not described. Treatment is symptomatic.
Interaction:Not described.
Special instructions:Avoid contact with eyes.
If the "diaper" rash does not disappear within 48-72 hours, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Do not use if infected skin lesions.
