Composition:

For 1 ml of solution:

active substance: Adegelon® - 1x10-9 ml (0.01% glycoprotein solution in water for injection);

Excipients: sodium chloride 8.8 mg, calcium chloride 0.001 mg, water for injection up to 1 ml.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    It inhibits the process of degeneration and stimulates the regeneration of cartilaginous tissue in case of damage. Stimulates the growth of fibroblast cultures, proliferative activity of lymphocytes, prevents the development of the inflammatory process, has antioxidant properties, prevents damage to the membrane structures of cells under various pathological conditions. Strengthens the adhesive interactions of cells of mesenchymal origin. If the articular cartilage is damaged, it stimulates the accumulation of chondroblasts, their differentiation into chondrocytes, the filling of the damaged area with chondrocytes, the restoration of the joint surface and joint mobility. Strengthens the production of chondrocytes of the cartilaginous matrix, collagen type II, proteoglycans. Promotes the ordering of the matrix structure. Eliminates or reduces pain syndrome.

    Indications:Osteoarthritis of large joints.
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity, infectious lesions of the skin and tissues in the joint region.

    Pronounced synovitis.

    Child age (no data on efficacy and safety).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Data on the use of the drug in pregnant women and during lactation there.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Intra-articular injection of 2 ml twice a week or every other day in aseptic conditions in a treatment room.

    Simultaneously, you can enter into several joints.

    Course 5-10 injections depending on the severity of the disease.

    The interval between courses is not less than 4 weeks.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Local secondary phenomena in the area of ​​administration: pain, redness, swelling of tissues.

    Treatment: imposition of a cold compress (ice) on the joint for 10-15 minutes.

    Overdose:

    Not described.

    Interaction:

    The drug interaction between Adgeelon ® and antibacterial, glucocorticosteroid and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs has not been revealed.

    Special instructions:

    In complex therapy, it is recommended that a time interval of at least 2 hours be observed between the administration of Adegelone® and other drugs.

    When expressed synovitis, the administration of the drug is recommended after arresting the process or puncturing the joint and removing the exudate.

    Before handling, the solution must be heated to room temperature.

    After the introduction of the patient is recommended to maintain a sparing regimen and avoid excessive stress on the joint for 1-2 days.

    Packaging:

    For 2 ml in ampoules of 2 or 3 ml from a neutral colorless or lightproof glass. A fracture ring or a notch and a dot are allowed. 10 ampoules in a contoured cell pack of a polyvinyl chloride film. One contour pack with instructions for use, a knife or a scapegrator ampoule in a pack of cardboard.
