Characteristic

Rhizomes contain a bitter substance, acorin, essential oil, tannins, resins, ascorbic acid and other biologically active substances.

Description:Pieces of rhizomes of various forms of yellowish, yellowish white, whitish pink, greyish-green, yellowish brown, darkish-brown in color, with a partly preserved yellowish brown or brownish stopper. The smell is strong, fragrant, characteristic. The taste of water extract is spicy-bitter.
Pharmacotherapeutic group:Appetite stimulant of vegetable origin (bitterness).

    • Pharmacodynamics:Irritating the taste receptors of the mucous membranes of the mouth and tongue, infusion reflex increases the secretion of gastric juice, increases appetite and improves digestion.
    Indications:
    They are used as a means to increase appetite and improve digestion in complex therapy for hypothyroidism of the gastrointestinal tract.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug; pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 12 years.
    Dosing and Administration:
    4 filter packs (6.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, poured

    200 ml (1 glass) of boiling water, cover and insist 15 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them.The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside in a warm form for 1/3 cup 3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
    Side effects:Allergic reactions are possible.
    Overdose:To date, cases of overdose have not been documented.
    Interaction:Not described.

    Rhizome powder 1,5 g in filter bags, 10 filter bags or 20 filter bags in a pack of cardboard.

    In a dry place protected from light; prepared infusion - in a cool place not more than 2 days.

    Keep out of the reach of children!
    Shelf life:
    1 year 6 months.
