Composition:

Each tablet contains:

active substances: bile dry - 80 mg, garlic dried - 40 mg, nettle leaves - 5 mg, activated charcoal - 25 mg;

Excipients: magnesium oxide - 12.1 mg, potato starch - 41.5 mg, talc - 3.5 mg, silicon dioxide colloid - 0.8 mg, calcium stearate - 2.1 mg; composition of the shell: sucrose - 128.7 mg, magnesium hydroxycarbonate 73.81 mg, silicon colloid dioxide 2.77 mg, titanium dioxide 2.77 mg, copovidone 1.82 mg, quinoline yellow E-104 dye 0.0247 mg , dye sunset yellow E-110 - 0.0024 mg, beeswax - 0.08 mg.

Description:The tablets covered with a cover, light yellow color, biconcave, with a specific smell. Three layers are visible on the cross-section.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Choleretic (cholekinetic and choleretic) remedy, reduces the processes of putrefaction and fermentation in the intestine. Strengthens the secretory function of liver cells, reflexively increases the secretory and motor activity of the organs of the gastrointestinal tract.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Allochol is well absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. Cholic and chenodeoxycholic acids contained in Allochol are exposed to 7αdehydroxylation in the intestine.Chenodeoxycholic acid, in addition, is metabolized in the liver: conjugated to amino acids, secreted in bile, whence it is again released into the intestine, then partially reabsorbed; the rest is excreted with feces.

    Indications:

    Chronic reactive hepatitis, cholangitis, cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia, atonic constipation, postcholecystectomy syndrome.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity, calculous cholecystitis, obstructive jaundice, acute hepatitis, acute and subacute liver dystrophy, peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer, acute pancreatitis.

    Carefully:Pregnancy, lactation. Under the strict supervision of a doctor.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside, after eating, 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day for 3-4 weeks; at exacerbation - 1 tablet 2-3 times a day for 1 -2 months.

    Repeated courses are conducted at intervals of 3 months.

    Side effects:Diarrhea, allergic reactions.
    Overdose:

    No cases of overdose have been reported to date with the application of Allochol.

    When deliberately taking the drug in high doses, or with prolonged use in doses,exceeding the maximum daily dose, the following are possible symptoms: diarrhea, nausea, pruritus, an increase in the level of transaminases in the blood.

    Treatment: withdrawal of the drug, symptomatic therapy, there is no specific antidote.

    Interaction:

    Negative manifestations in the application of Allochol against the background of therapy with other drugs have not been described to date.

    Preparations containing aluminum hydroxide, cholestyramine, cholestipol reduce absorption (and reduce the effect) - simultaneous administration is not practical.

    Special instructions:

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The drug does not affect the ability to drive a vehicle and machinery.
