Pharmacodynamics:Stimulates blood circulation, strengthens the contractility of the heart, increases low blood pressure. Normalizes the disturbed by the vertical position of the body regulation of blood circulation, increases the volume of circulating blood and eliminates discomfort.
Pharmacokinetics:The action develops gradually, the stabilization of the blood circulation lasts more than 1 hour.
Indications:Essential hypotension accompanied by dizziness, fast fatigue, reduced working capacity, morning fatigue, low ability to concentrate and other symptoms, orthostatic syndrome (arising when taking a vertical position or a prolonged standing), symptomatic hypotension (after a long illness, infectious diseases, with a sharp change in weather, during growth, after therapy with some psychotropic drugs), age-related hypotension, including in the elderly.

IX.I95-I99.I95.1 Orthostatic hypotension
Contraindications:Hypersensitivity, hypertension, pheochromocytoma, thyrotoxicosis, zakratougolnaya glaucoma, hypertrophy or adenoma of the prostate in the presence of residual urine,I trimester of pregnancy, children and adolescence (up to 12 years).
Carefully:Heart rhythm disturbances and severe organic damage to the heart and blood vessels.
Pregnancy and lactation: Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy. If it is necessary to use during pregnancy (II and III trimester), the estimated benefit to the mother and the potential risk to the fetus should be assessed.
If it is necessary to use lactation, breastfeeding should be discontinued.
Dosing and Administration:Inside, adults and children over 12 years - 10 mg 1-3 times a day, without chewing, with a moderate amount of fluid. If necessary, the dose may be increased to 90 mg per day.
Side effects:From the digestive system: constipation, a feeling of heaviness in the epigastrium, nausea.
From the cardiovascular system: tachycardia.
From the side of the central nervous system: headache, dizziness, a feeling of heaviness in the head, anxiety, nervousness, tremor.
Other: chills.
Interaction:MAO inhibitors: enhancement of the amezinium effect of methyl sulfate.
Norepinephrine: increased effect of amezinium methyl sulfate.
Tricyclic antidepressants: weakening the effect of amezinium methyl sulfate.
Neuroleptics: weakening the effect of amezinium methyl sulfate.
Special instructions:In case of side effects it is recommended to reduce the dose or temporarily cancel the reception.
The safety and effectiveness of the use of amezinium methyl sulfate in children under the age of 12 years is not established.
