    Pharmacodynamics:

    Coagulation of proteins of microbial cells.

    Eliminates symptoms of irritation of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, reduces nasal congestion. Softens irritation and sore throat.

    Activity against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms in vitro; has an antifungal effect.

    Antiviral effect (influenza A virus, respiratory syncytial virus, coronavirus of severe acute respiratory syndrome).

    Pharmacokinetics:No data. Low systemic absorption.
    Indications:Infectious-inflammatoryDiseases of the oral cavity, throat, larynx: tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis (including a professionalteachers, speakers, workers in the chemical and coal industries), hoarseness, inflammation of the mucous membrane of the mouth and gums (aphthous stomatitis, gingivitis, thrush).

    Carefully:Pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, bronchial asthma.
    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The category of FDA recommendations is not defined. Adequate and well-controlled studies on humans and animals have not been conducted.

    There is no information on the penetration into breast milk. The drug is used only if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. For the duration of treatment, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

    Dosing and Administration:Locally. Adults - every 2 hours, rassasyvat (until completely dissolved) for 1 tablet or lozenge. The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets or lozenges. Children from 6 years - 1 tablet or lozenge every 4 hours.
    Side effects:Allergic reactions.
    Overdose:It is unlikely. Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Treatment symptomatic.
    Interaction:Clinically significant interactions with other drugs have not been identified.
    Special instructions:In case of accidental miss of one or more doses, the dose is not increased. When prescribing a drug for patients with diabetes mellitus, it should be noted that 1 tablet for absorption contains 2.6 g of sugar, which corresponds to 0.22 XE (bread units).
