АТХ:P Antiparasitic drugs, insecticides and repellents
Pharmacodynamics:The simbicidal and bactericidal action is due to the selective action on the membranes of cells of protozoa and microorganisms. The drug penetrates into the cell of the microorganism, begins to interact with its enzyme systems - nitroderductases. The formed metabolites "break" the membrane of the parasite cells.
Pharmacokinetics:The half-life is 8-10 hours. The drug is cumulated by repeated administration. Bioavailability within 90%. Easily absorbed by the mucous membranes of the vagina and rectum, providing both local and systemic action. Metabolised in the liver. It is excreted in the urine (up to 85%, of which about 60% in the form of various metabolites) and with feces in unchanged form.
Indications:The preparation in the composition of creams and ointments is used for lesions of the skin and subcutaneous tissue.

Contraindications:Individual intolerance.
Anemia, leukemia, liver failure, porphyria.
Carefully:With individual intolerance - itching and burning of the genitals.
Pregnancy and lactation:Recommendations for FDA - not defined. It is not recommended for use in pregnant and lactating women.
Dosing and Administration:Inside (tablets) and topically in the form of suspensions, vaginal spray and candles. Inside - after meals in the amount of 100 mg three times a day. Intravaginally two times a day, foam is injected from the bottle: 1-2.5 g of foam (20-40 mg of the drug) are released for 1 second of pressure, after which the external aperture of the urethra and rectum is treated.
When treating women from trichomoniasis, the local effect is used: aerosol treatment or 2.5% suspension, at night - suppositories. Simultaneously, the drug is taken orally 2 times a day. The course of treatment is 15 days.
For skin infections, a suspension or aerosol is used twice a day.
To treat men from trichomoniasis, only tablets for oral administration are used.
The highest daily dose is 300 mg.
The highest single dose: intravaginal 120 mg, inside - 100 mg.
Side effects:Headache, nausea, dysuric disorders. Burning in the vagina and in the area of wounds on the skin.
Allergic reactions.
Overdose:Nausea, vomiting.
Gastric lavage, vaginal douching with 1% sodium bicarbonate solution.
Interaction:The drug is not compatible with alcohol.
Special instructions:Aminotrosol is used to treat trophic ulcers.
In the treatment of trichomoniasis, a joint course of both (all) partners is mandatory.
