Pharmacodynamics:Violation of the synthesis of sterols, a decrease in ergosterol, the accumulation of abnormal planar stereoisomers of sterols, damage to the cell membrane of fungal cells. It has fungicidal and fungistatic effects.
Effective against fungi: Candida spp., Pityrosporum spp., Cryptococcus spp., Trichophyton spp., Mycrosporum spp., Epidermophyton spp., Altemaria spp., Hendersonula spp., Scopulariopsis spp., Dematiaceae (Cladosporium, Fonseceae, Wangiella) spp., Coccidoides spp., Histoplasma spp., Sporothrix spp., as well as bacteria Actinomyces spp.
Pharmacokinetics:At application in the form of a varnish gets into a nail plate and diffuses into a nail bed. Systemic absorption is negligible.
Indications:Onychomycosis caused by dermatophytes, yeast and mold fungi (provided that no more than 2/3 of the nail plate is affected).
Prevention of fungal nail lesions.

Carefully:Action category for the fetus by FDA not determined. The drug is contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Dosing and Administration:The varnish is applied to the affected nails 1-2 times a week. Treatment continues continuously until a new nail grows: 6 months - for the nails on the fingers and 9-12 months (15 months) - for the toes of the feet.
Side effects:Redness, burning and itching at the site of application.
Interaction:With simultaneous use with antifungal agents for systemic use, potentiation of the effect is noted.
Special instructions:During treatment, it is not recommended to use cosmetic nail polish or false nails. When working with organic solvents - wear impervious gloves. The saws used to treat the affected nails should not be used for the treatment of healthy nails.
