Description:

The mixture of non-uniform particles of plant raw material is yellowish-green with grayish-white, yellow, dark-green, cream, reddish-brown and brown impregnations. The smell is weak, fragrant. The taste of the water extract is bitterish-acidic.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion collection has a hypoglycemic effect, helps reduce blood glucose, increases tolerance to carbohydrates and enhances glycogen-forming function of the liver.

    Indications:

    Diabetes mellitus type 2: in mild form - in combination with diet and exercise, with diabetes of moderate severity - in combination with oral hypoglycemic drugs or insulin.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, nephritis, arterial hypertension, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, increased excitability,insomnia, epilepsy, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children's age (up to 12 years).

    Dosing and Administration:

    1 filter bag is placed in a glass or enamelware, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover with a lid and insist 15 minutes, periodically pressing on the bag with a spoon, then squeeze it. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 100 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside in a warm form of 1/3 -1/2 glass of infusion 2-3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days. After 10-15 days, the course of treatment is recommended to be repeated. During the year, 3-4 courses are conducted (in agreement with the attending physician).

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Possible allergic reactions, heartburn, increased blood pressure, insomnia.

    Overdose:

    So far, no cases of overdose have been reported.

    Interaction:

    When combined with oral hypoglycemic drugs, it is possible to increase the hypoglycemic effect of the infusion of the drug Arfazetin-EC.

    Special instructions:

    The use of the Arfazetin-EC collection should be agreed with the attending physician.

    It is not recommended to use Arfazetin-EC in the second half of the day to avoid sleep disturbances.

    When applying the drug "Arfazetin-EC" in combination with oral hypoglycemic agents, insulin, it is necessary to follow the rules of admission, precautions and contra-indications provided for these drugs.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    The use of the drug does not affect the performance of potentially dangerous activities requiring an increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions, including the management of vehicles, work with moving mechanisms.

    Collect the powder.

    Packaging:

    By 2.0 g in a filter bag made of heat-sealable porous non-wicking paper. For 10 or 20 filter packs per pack of cardboard. The text of the instruction for medical use is completely put on the pack.

    Storage conditions:

    In a dry place protected from light.

    Ready to keep the infusion in a cool place for no more than 2 days.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    3 years.
