    Indications:

    - prevention of locomotion sickness (motion sickness in transport), manifested by nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness and increased sweating;

    - nausea and vomiting after surgery;

    - hypofunction of the gastrointestinal tract, dyskinesia of the bile duct along the hypotonic type, flatulence.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity, cholelithiasis, children under 12 years.

    Carefully:Gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.
    Pregnancy and lactation:Due to the lack of data on the safety of the drug use by pregnant and lactating women, this group of patients is not recommended to take the drug.
    Dosing and Administration:

    The drug is taken orally.

    To prevent manifestations of locomotion disease take 2 capsules half an hour before the trip, in case of nausea on the road - 1-2 capsules every 4 hours until the symptoms disappear, but not more than 8 capsules per day. The course of treatment is not more than 3 days.

    In order to prevent nausea and vomiting after surgery Take 4 capsules 1 hour before surgery.

    For the normalization of digestion and dyskinesia of bile ducts by hypotonic type - 2 to 4 capsules per day. If there is no improvement after 3 days of treatment, you should see a doctor.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions, dyspeptic phenomena (heartburn, diarrhea) are possible.

    Overdose:Taking the drug in doses significantly exceeding the recommended (over 6 grams,which corresponds to 24 capsules per day) can lead to depression of the central nervous system, heart rhythm disturbance and, in rare cases, damage to the gastric mucosa. In this case, the patient should consult a doctor.
    Treatment: drug cancellation; symptomatic therapy.
    Interaction:

    Ginger can reduce the absorption of sulfaguanidine.

    Ginger can enhance the effect of nifedipine on platelet aggregation.

    The intake of ginger rhizome with alcoholic beverages or preparations containing alcohol can enhance intestinal peristalsis.

    May enhance the effect of indirect anticoagulants, hypoglycemic drugs and cardiac glycosides.

    Application in conjunction with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can enhance the side effects of the latter.

    Special instructions:In patients after extensive surgical interventions, as well as in patients with bleeding disorders and taking indirect anticoagulants, the rhizome of ginger may increase the risk of bleeding. It is necessary to consult a doctor.
