    rhizome powder

    Composition:

    Badana rootstocks. Rhizomes contain tannins, arbutin, isocoumarin bergenin and other biologically active substances.

    Description:

    Pieces of rhizomes and scaly remnants of petioles of leaves of various shapes. Color from light pink to light brown with dark brown, almost black, less often whitish and greenish interspersed. The smell is absent. The taste of water extract is very astringent.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The broth has an astringent, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic effect.

    Indications:

    Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (stomatitis, gingivitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, periodontitis); in gynecology (vaginitis, colpitis, erosion of the cervix).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children under 18 years.

    Pregnancy and lactation:Contraindicated in pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
    Dosing and Administration:

    2 filter packets (3.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water,cover and insist 30 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water. Decoction is used topically for lotions and 1 / 2-1 / 3 cup for douches and rinses 2-3 times a day; course of treatment - 5-14 days.

    It is recommended to stir up the broth before use.
