Ledum of marsh shoots.
Characteristic
Sprouts of wild rosemary contain essential oil, flavonoids, tannins, arbutin, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.
Description:

Pieces of stems, leaves and fruits, passing through a sieve with holes 5 mm in size. Color green, dark green, orange-brown, grayish brown. The smell is sharp, specific. The taste of water extraction is not determined.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion of shoots of wild rosemary has an expectorant effect; has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antihypertensive properties; has an exciting effect on the central nervous system and myometrium.

    Indications:Infusion of shoots of Ledum is used in adults as an expectorant for inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough with hard-to-recover sputum (bronchitis, tracheitis, etc.).
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, age to 18 years.

    Dosing and Administration:
    10 g (2 tablespoons) of raw materials are placed in enameled dishes, 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water are poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
    Take inside in a warm form for 1 / 3-1 / 4 cup 2-3 times a day.
    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
    Side effects:

    Possible allergic reactions, dizziness, increased nervous excitability, irritability; when taking large doses - excitation or depression of the central nervous system.

    Interaction:

    It is not recommended at the same time to prescribe infusion of shoots of lemon with antitussive medicines.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    During the period of treatment it is necessary to refrain from driving motor vehicles and practicing potentially dangerous activities that require an increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

    Packaging: For 30 g, 50 g (at a humidity of 14%) in a pack of cardboard with an internal paper bag and instructions for use.
    Storage conditions:

    In a dry place protected from light.

    Ready to keep the infusion in a cool place for no more than 2 days.
