Composition:

On 100 ml of solution:

active ingredients: benzalkonium chloride 50% solution 985 mg, which corresponds to benzalkonium chloride 500 mg, chlorhexidine digluconate 20% solution of 1065 mg, which corresponds to chlorhexidine digluconate 200 mg;

  • Pharmacodynamics:

    Benzalkonium chloride and chlorhexidine are antiseptics of a wide spectrum of action, have a bactericidal effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, have a fungicidal effect on pathogenic fungi, including yeast-like genus Candida albicans.

    Antiseptic effect manifests itself within 1 minute.

    Reduced activity of the drug in the presence of inflammatory secretion is negligible.

    Bactoderm® cleans and disinfects the skin, without compromising the integrity of the skin, almost not absorbed from the surface of the skin.

    Indications:

    Treatment of infected skin and mucous membrane lesions; prevention of infection of the skin and mucous membranes.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Do not use for washing the mucous membrane of the eyes and the auditory canal.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The solution is applied in undiluted or diluted form 1-2 times a day.

    For surface treatment of skin an undiluted solution is used.

    For local treatment of mucous membranes use a solution diluted 1:10 with water. The diluted solution is prepared immediately before use and should not be stored.

    The solution is applied and evenly distributed over the surface of the skin or mucous membranes, then washed off with plenty of water.

    Side effects:

    Dryness of the skin and mucous membranes, which decreases when the solution is thoroughly rinsed with water; skin irritation; contact eczema.

    Interaction:

    Do not use simultaneously with other local antiseptics (risk of incompatibility or inefficiency).

    If soap is previously used, it should be thoroughly washed off.

    Special instructions:

    When treating a large surface area of ​​the skin with a solution under a hermetically sealed dressing, on a lesioned, in particular burned skin, on the skin of a premature newborn or infant, there is a risk of systemic action of the active substances in the solution.

    Do not use for surgical instruments and equipment disinfection.

    The open vial should not be stored for more than 15 days.
