Beclamide is an antiepileptic agent.The substance interacts with proteins and phospholipids contained in membranes neurons, breaks their permeability for sodium ions. Blocks the transmission of convulsive discharges.

Dosing and Administration:

Children are prescribed 250-500 mg 2-4 times a day, depending on the age, frequency of seizures and the child's response to treatment.

Side effects:

From the central nervous system: dizziness, general weakness, sleep disturbances.

From the digestive system: development gastritis.

Overdose:

Treatment is symptomatic. There are no data on overdose cases.
