    Pharmacodynamics:

    Antiparasitic drug for external application. Has toxic effect on scabies mite. Passes through the chitinous cover and accumulates in the mite's body in toxic concentrations (mites die through 7-32 min.). Causes the death of larvae and adult individuals of scabies mites; does not affect the eggs.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Penetrates into the upper layers of the epidermis, it is not absorbed into the systemic bloodstream.

    Indications:

    Scabies.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 18 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Outwardly. Ointment is applied after washing at night on the entire skin, excluding the face and scalp, rubbed with hands that do not wash until morning, one rubs consumes 30-40 g of ointment.On the fourth day, the treatment is repeated, on the fifth day, washing is prescribed with the change of bed linen and bed linen.

    Special instructions:

    Before starting treatment, it is advisable for the patient to take a hot shower for mechanical removal from the skin of the mites, as well as loosening of the surface layer of the epidermis (to facilitate penetration of the drug). After each forced washing of hands it is necessary to process them again.

    Treatment of patients identified in one focus should be carried out simultaneously, in order to avoid re-infection, it is also recommended to conduct one-time preventive treatment of contact persons. Preservation of itching after treatment is not an indication for the appointment of an additional course of specific therapy.Itching is a reaction of the body to the killed tick and the products of its vital activity and disappears when prescribing antihistamines and ointments with glucocorticosteroids. After treatment, medical control is necessary for 2 weeks, and in the presence of complications of the disease (dermatitis, eczema, pyoderma, post-scabious lymphoplasia) and for a longer time.

    All items that come into contact with the infected skin must be carefully processed. Bedding, linen, towels are boiled in a detergent solution for 5-10 minutes. The outer clothing is ironed on both sides with a hot iron. Things not subject to heat treatment, hang out into the open air for 3 days. Shoes, toys and other items are excluded from use for 5 days and placed in a cellophane bag. Mattresses, pillows, blankets are also excluded from use for 5 days or subjected to chamber disinfection. Upholstered furniture can be treated with preparations for pest control. The apartment must be cleaned, washed floors with detergents or the addition of disinfectants. It is necessary to avoid getting the drug on the mucous membranes of the eyes, the nasal cavity, the oral cavity,genital organs. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with warm water or 1% - 2% sodium bicarbonate solution (food soda). If the product gets into the stomach, it is necessary to rinse it with 1% - 2% sodium hydrogen carbonate solution and drink a glass of water with activated carbon (in a glass of water stir 2 tablespoons of activated charcoal).
