Composition:

Birch leaves.

Birch leaves contain essential oil, tannins,flavonoids and other biologically active substances.

Description:

Pieces of leaves. Color from greyish-green to green. The odor is peculiar, slightly fragrant. The taste of water extract is bitterish.

    Infusion of birch leaves has a diuretic effect.

    Indications:Edemas of cardiovascular and renal origin.
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug. Chronic kidney failure, acute glomerulonephritis, childhood up to 12 children.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Application during pregnancy and lactation is possible. It is necessary to consult a doctor.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 3.5 g (1 tablespoon) of crushed leaves are placed in enameled pots, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter. The remaining raw material is squeezed out, the volume of the obtained infusion is brought to boiling water to 200 ml.

    Take inside 1/4 -1/3 cup 3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    The course of treatment is 20-40 days. Repeated courses of treatment are conducted with one-two-week breaks.
