Description:Pieces of leaves of various shapes passing through a sieve with holes 5 mm in size, green, brownish-green, light green, gray-green, light brownish green. The odor is peculiar, weak fragrant. The taste of water extract is bitterish.

    Infusion of birch leaves has a diuretic effect.

    Indications:

    Infusion of birch leaves is used as a diuretic for edema of cardiovascular and renal origin.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug.
    Chronic renal failure, acute glomerulonephritis.
    Pregnancy and lactation:Application during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible if the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. It is necessary to consult a doctor.
    Dosing and Administration:

    About 3.5 g (1 tablespoon) of birch leaves are placed in enameled pots, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool 45 minutes at room temperature, filter. The remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside 1 / 3-1 / 4 cup 3-4 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.

    The course of treatment is 20-40 days. Repeated courses of treatment are carried out with one-two-week breaks.

    Before use, the infusion should be shaken.
