Composition:

1 suppository contains:

active substances: krasavki extract thick (with the content of the sum of alkaloid belladonna in terms of hyoscyamine 1.5%) 0.015 g, ihtamol (ichthyol) 0.2 g;

bases for suppositories: fat solid (vitepsol, supposir) - a sufficient amount to obtain a suppository with a mass of 1.23 g.

Description:

Suppositories torpedo-shaped, dark brown in color, with the smell of ichthyol. The appearance of a white coating on the surface of the suppository is allowed.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Combined drug; has antispasmodic (krasavki extract) and anti-inflammatory (ichthyol) effect.

    Indications:

    Hemorrhoids, anal fissures.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, zakratougolnaya glaucoma, prostate adenoma, age to 18 years.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The use of Betiol® during pregnancy and lactation is possible if the benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Rectal, 1-3 suppositories per day, but not more than 10 suppositories per day, after cleansing enema or spontaneous bowel cleansing.

    Side effects:Dry mouth, thirst, constipation, tachycardia, mydriasis, paresis of accommodation, allergic reactions.
    Overdose:

    In case of an overdose, dry mouth, thirst, constipation, tachycardia, mydriasis and other temporary visual impairment are possible; in more severe cases - psychomotor agitation, convulsions, urinary retention.

    During the treatment period, care should be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration of attention, speed of psychomotor reactions and good vision.
