Composition:

Biosporin tablets are living bacteria of Bacillus subtilis 3 and Bacillus licheniformis 31, freeze-dried in a sucrose-zhegatine medium and compressed with filler-lactose. One dose of the drug contains live microbial cells of B. subtilis 3 - from 1x109 up to 8x109 and B.licheniformis 31 - from 1x108 up to 2x109. The content of lactose in one tablet is 0.06 g; 0.2 g or 0.4 g, depending on the weight of the tablet (0.08 g, 0.25 g or 0.5 g, respectively).

Description:Tablets of biosporin have a round shape with flat or slightly convex surfaces, various shades from whitish-gray to beige, "marble" color is allowed.
The drug has a specific odor.

  • Antidiarrhoeal preparations of biological origin regulating the balance of intestinal microflora
  • Pharmacodynamics:Bacteria that are part of the biosporin, have a high antagonistic activity against pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms and do not affect the representatives of normal microflora. They also synthesize a complex of enzymes that stimulate and regulate digestion.
    Indications:Treatment of children from one year and older and adults. The preparation is used:
    in gastroenterological practice:
    - In acute intestinal infections caused by pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms (Salmonella, Shigella, enteropathogenic E. coli, Proteus, Staphylococcus, and Candida), including antibiotic resistant, for mild and moderate diseases; with severe forms in persons with contraindications to antibiotics;
    - for persons who have experienced acute intestinal infections, in cases of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms or intestinal dysfunction;
    - with dysbacteriosis of the intestine of various etiologies, including those arising as a result of antibiotic therapy;
    in surgical practice:
    - for prevention of purulent-septic complications in the postoperative period.
    in gynecological practice:
    - for the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis in women of reproductive age, including in pregnant women;
    - for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis (prescribed after the end of the course of antibiotic therapy for the purpose of rehabilitation).
    Contraindications:Contraindicated with hypersensitivity to the components that make up the drug.
    Dosing and Administration:Biosporin, tablets are applied through the mouth, washed down with boiled water, 30-40 minutes before meals. It is allowed to grind the tablet.
    Simultaneous use of antibiotics and chemotherapy is inappropriate.
    If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated.
    Biosporin is used according to the doctor's prescription in the following dosages:
    CHILDREN
    - for treatment of OCI (dysentery, salmonellosis, food poisoning, etc.) - one dose 2 times a day for 5-7 days;
    - when the convalescents are healed after OCD - 1 dose 2 times a day for 5 days, according to indications up to 2 weeks;
    - with dysbacteriosis of the intestine - 1 dose 2 times a day for 10-14 days;
    for the prevention of purulent-septic complications in the postoperative period 1 dose 2 times a day for 5-7 days before the operation and within 10 days after the operation.
    IN ADULTS
    - for treatment of OCI 2 doses 3 times a day for 5-7 days;
    - when the convalescents are treated after OCD 2 doses 3 times a day for 5 days, according to indications up to 2 weeks;
    - with dysbacteriosis of the intestine 2 doses 2 times a day for 10-14 days;
    for the prevention of purulent-septic complications in the postoperative period 2 doses 2 times a day for 5-7 days before the operation and within 10 days after the operation.
    - for the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis and bacterial vaginosis, 2 doses 2 times a day, 30 minutes before meals.
    Side effects:Not installed.
    Interaction:It is allowed to use the drug in combination with other medications as agreed with the attending physician.
    Form release / dosage:Tablets containing 1 or 2 doses.
    Packaging:By 10, 20 or 30 pieces in a bottle of neutral glass,corked with a rubber stopper, covered with an aluminum cap; one bottle per pack of cardboard box with instructions for use.
    Storage conditions:The preparation is stored in accordance with SP 3.3.2.1248-03 in a dry place protected from light and inaccessible to children at a temperature not exceeding 30 ° ะก. Transport in accordance with SP 3.3.2.1248-03 in a dry, dark place at a temperature of no higher than 30 ° C.
    Not suitable for use:
