Composition:

Hawthorn Fruit -100 g

Ethanol (ethyl alcohol) is 70% -sufficient amount to produce 1000 ml of the drug.

Description:

Transparent liquid from light yellow to reddish brown.

    Has a moderate cardiotonic, spasmolytic, sedative effect.

    Indications:

    Hawthorn tincture is used in complex therapy of functional disorders of cardiac activity, cardialgia, climacteric syndrome, astheno-neurotic states.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years.
    Carefully:

    liver disease, alcoholism, craniocerebral trauma, brain disease, children's age from 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside. Adults on 20-30 drops 3-4 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 20-30 days.

    Children over 12 years old - 10-15 drops, diluted in 1/4 cup water, 3-4 times daily before meals. The course of treatment is 20-30 days.

    Side effects:

    In some cases, allergic reactions are possible (urticaria, pruritus), bradycardia (with prolonged use), when used in large doses - lowering blood pressure, dizziness, tremor,drowsiness.

    Interaction:
    With the joint use of tinctures of hawthorn and cardiac glycosides (including strophanthine, digoxin) there is an intensification of the cardiotonic effect; with beta-blockers - it is possible to increase the hypotensive effect.
    Special instructions:

    The absolute alcohol content in the maximum single dose of the drug for adults is 0.45 g, for children 0.23 g; in the maximum daily dose of the drug for adults is 1.8 g, for children - 0.9 g.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:During the treatment period, care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

    Tincture.

    Packaging:

    To 25 ml, 40 ml and 100 ml into bottles of orange glass.

    Each bottle, together with the instructions for use, is placed in a pack of cardboard.

    For delivery to hospitals of 66 bottles of 25 ml volume, 55 bottles of 40 ml volume, 45 bottles of 100 ml each are placed in a box of corrugated cardboard with an equal number of instructions for use.

    Storage conditions:

    In the dark place at a temperature of 15 to 25 ° C.
