Composition:
Elderberry black flowers.
Characteristic
Ebony black flowers contain essential oil, flavonoids, glycoside sambunigrin, organic acids and tannins.
Description:

Individual flowers and buds with short bare pedicels or without them. Flowers with a slightly noticeable five-toothed spaynolistnoy calyx and a whisk of 4-5 petals, fused at the base, with a diameter of up to 5 mm. Stamens 5, attached to the corolla tube, ovary is semi-inferior, three-cavity. Color yellowish green, light yellow, yellow, brownish yellow, light brown, brown, grayish green. The scent is fragrant. The taste of the water extract is spicy.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion of elderberry black flowers has a diaphoretic effect.

    Indications:Acute respiratory viral infections (symptomatic treatment).
    Contraindications:

    Pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    5 g (1 tablespoon) of elderberry black flowers are placed in enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes,filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside in a warm form for 1/3 cup 2-3 times a day.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Overdose:

    To date, cases of overdoses have not been recorded.

    Not studied.

    Special instructions:

    The diaphoretic action of the drug is facilitated by an abundant warm drink; in the absence of effect (decrease in body temperature) on the background of taking the drug within 24 hours, you should see a doctor.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.
