Composition:

Thyme Grass

Description:

A mixture of slices of thin stems, leaves and flowers passing through a sieve with holes of 2 mm in size.The color is greyish-green or brownish-green with whitish, reddish-brown, bluish-violet and pinkish-violet impregnations. The scent is fragrant. The taste of water extract is bitterish-spicy.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:An expectorant of plant origin.
Pharmacodynamics:

Infusion of herbs of thyme exposes an expectorant, antimicrobial effect

Indications:

In the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia); locally for rinsing with inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug, with oral administration: violations of the liver and / or kidneys, gastritis with high acidity, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum; pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 12 years.

Dosing and Administration:

2 filter bags are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of boiling water, cover with a lid and insist for 15 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them.The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

Take inside 1/2 glass 2-3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

Locally, for rinsing the mouth and throats, apply 1 / 2-1 glasses of warm infusion 3-4 times a day.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Overdose:

Symptoms: nausea. Treatment is symptomatic.
