Thyme grass contains essential oil, tannins, bitterness, flavonoids,macro- and microelements, etc.
Description:

A mixture of pieces of stems, leaves and flowers passing through a sieve with holes 2 mm in size. Color grayish-green or brownish-green with yellowish-white, red-brown, light brown often with a purple hue, bluish-violet, pink-violet, green and dark green interspersed. The scent is fragrant. The taste of the water extract is bitterish-spicy.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion of herbs of thyme exposes an expectorant, antimicrobial effect.

    Indications:

    In the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia); locally for rinsing with inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug; at ingestion: violations of the liver and / or kidney function, gastritis with high acidity, peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer, pregnancy and lactation period, children's age (up to 12 years).

    Dosing and Administration:

    1 filter bag is placed in a glass or enamelware, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and insist for 15 minutes. The filter package is squeezed out, the volume of the obtained infusion is brought to boiling water up to 100 ml.

    Inside infusion take up to eat 1/2 cup 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

    Locally for rinses of an oral cavity and pharynx apply on 1 / 2-1 a glass of warm infusion 3-4 times a day.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Overdose:Symptoms: nausea.
