Chaga (birch fungus).
Characteristic
Chaga (birch fungus) contains pigments forming a chromogenic polyphenolcarbon complex, agaric acid, resins, manganese and other biologically active substances.
Description:

Pieces of dark-brown chaga, passing through a sieve with holes of 7 mm. The smell is absent. The taste of water extract is bitterish.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    It has an anti-inflammatory effect, improves the general condition of cancer patients, eliminates pain syndrome and dyspepsia, and has a general tonic effect.

    Indications:

    Chronic gastritis, dyskinesia of the gastrointestinal tract with atony phenomena, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, oncological diseases.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug; pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, the age of 18 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 50 g of raw material is poured into 0.5 liters of warm boiled water, it is insisted for 2 days at room temperature, filtered, the raw material is squeezed out, the volume of the obtained infusion is brought to boiling water to 0.5 liters.

    Take inside 1/2 glass 6 times a day or 1 glass 3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals. Treatment is carried out for 3-5 months with interruptions of 7-10 days.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    With prolonged continuous use of Chaga's preparation, there may be increased excitability, vegetative lability, and dyspeptic phenomena. In these cases, you should reduce the dose or cancel the drug.

    Overdose:

    To date, cases of overdose have not been reported.

    Interaction:

    It is not recommended simultaneous administration of penicillins and intravenous dextrose.

    Special instructions:

    When treating the drug with chaga, a milk-vegetable diet is shown, a restriction in the diet of fats and meat, the exclusion of smoked products, spicy seasonings, canned food.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    The drug does not affect the ability to engage in potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving, working with moving mechanisms).
