Pharmacodynamics:Antiparasitic (anti-pedicidal) remedy. It has a neurotoxic effect on sexually mature specimens of insects.
The plant has an emetic, irritating and antiparasitic action. Chloride alkaloids white (protoverathrine, protoverin) lower blood pressure. According to experimental research data, extracts, infusions and broths have a diuretic, sedative, choleretic effect, show significant bactericidal activity, and have a harmful effect on the blood fluke.
