    Pharmacodynamics:

    Means of plant origin; Antibacterial, antifungal, anthelmintic, antiprotozoal, C-vitamin, B-vitamin, cocaine, expectorant, coronarodilating and cardiotonic action, increases intestinal tone, reduces platelet aggregation, normalizes blood pressure, increases immunity, reduces blood lipids, the severity of inflammatory reactions, hangover syndrome, reduces manifestations of premenstrual and climacteric syndromes, improves brain function (in the elderly), increases the natural resistance of the organ the serpent.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Insufficiently investigated in humans. Reduced activity of CYP2E1 by 39%.

    Indications:

    Tincture - diseases of the respiratory tract (including bronchitis, tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, pneumonia). Capsules - hyperlipidemia (as part of complex therapy), prevention of atherosclerosis, premenstrual syndrome, asthenic conditions,reduction of mental function (in elderly patients), arthritis (as part of combination therapy), climacteric syndrome, withdrawal symptoms.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity, acute and chronic renal disease, hypothyroidism, biliary dyskinesia of hyperkinetic, hepatitis, cholelithiasis, gastritis and gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer exacerbation, pregnancy, lactation.

    Carefully:

    Age to 18 years (efficacy and safety not established).

    Use with caution in epilepsy, schizophrenia, manic-depressive syndrome.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Category of recommendations for FDA is not defined. Qualitative and well-controlled studies on humans and animals have not been conducted. There are indications of stimulation of labor. Do not apply.

    There is no information on the penetration into breast milk and the effect on the newborn. Do not use because of the development of colic in babies.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside for 1/2 teaspoon or 1 capsule 2-3 times a day with meals. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks. Conducting repeated courses of treatment is possible after consulting a doctor.

    Side effects:

    Gastralgia, allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Symptoms: headache, nausea, diarrhea.

    Treatment: a short-term withdrawal of the drug.

    Interaction:Garlic strengthens the effect of antihypertensive drugs.
    Anticoagulants (heparin sodium, warfarin, acenocoumarol) when used together increase bleeding time and clotting time (do not apply together).
    Insulin soluble, hypoglycemic drugs (chlorpropamide, metformin, tolbutamide) when combined use increases hypoglycemia (dose adjustment is necessary).
    Herbs (Acidophilus) reduce the absorption of garlic in parallel reception (a mandatory break between meals is 3 hours).
    Special instructions:

    The smell of skin and exhaled air can change.

    In 1 tablet of the preparation of the corresponding form contains 0.02 XE.
