Devyasil rootstocks and roots.
Characteristic
Devyasil rootstocks and roots contain essential oil (including sesquiterpene lactones), inulin, mucus and other biologically active substances.

Description:

Pieces of roots and rhizomes of various shapes. Color grayish-brown, yellowish-white, yellowish-gray. The scent is fragrant. The taste of the water extract is spicy, bitter.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Decoction of elecampane rhizomes and roots exerts an expectorant effect.

    Indications:

    Applied in adults and children over 12 years as an expectorant for diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug, kidney disease, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 16 g (2 tablespoons) of rhizomes and roots are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath with frequent stirring for 30 minutes, cool for 10 minutes at room temperature temperature, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed.The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside in a warm form for 1/2 cup 2-3 times a day.

    The course of treatment is 2 weeks.

    It is recommended to stir up the broth before use.

    Side effects:
