Pharmacodynamics:
Dioxysol has an antibacterial, local anesthetic and anti-burn effect, stimulates regeneration processes. Eliminates wound and perifocal inflammation, stimulates the repair process and the activity of phagocytes in the wound.
The antibacterial property is due to the presence of dioxin and includes the effect on gram-negative and gram-positive, aerobic and anaerobic, spore-forming and asporogenous microflora, hospital strains of bacteria with multiresistance to other chemotherapeutic drugs.
The drug, when applied topically, does not damage the granulation tissue and transplants.Does not have a general toxic and locally irritating effect.
Indications:Infected soft tissue injuries, abscesses, fistulas, trophic ulcers, pressure sores; burns II - IV degree (superficial and deep); in surgery, traumatology, proctology; prevention of purulent-inflammatory processes in cosmetology and military field surgery, while performing plastic surgeries. Apply in the first phase of the wound process and in the second phase with the growth of granulation tissue in the wound with the remaining zones of necrosis and inflammation.
Contraindications:Hypersensitivity.
Carefully:Violation of the adrenal and kidney function, pregnancy, lactation period, profuse purulent wound discharge.
Dosing and Administration:
Outer or local. Apply after pre-treatment of the wound with the removal of exudate and necrotic tissue. Aerosol in the form of foam is applied to the affected area. The amount of preparation necessary for a single use depends on the area of ​​the wound surface, the wound is completely covered with foam.
When treating burns, apply a uniform layer of foam 1 cm thick and apply a gauze bandage. Change dressings produced 1 time per day.With the help of a nozzle, foam is injected into the fistulas, wound cavities and pockets 1-2 times a day. Before each use, the nozzle is rinsed with boiled water.
The daily dose for external use - 100 g, with the introduction of the cavity - 70 g.
The duration of treatment depends on the course of the wound process and should not exceed 15 days.
Side effects:Burning, itching, allergic reactions.
