Description:Opaque, viscous solution of brown color with a specific smell.
Pharmacotherapeutic group:an expectorant of plant origin.

  • Pharmacodynamics:Has expectorant, anti-inflammatory and mucolytic effect.
    Indications:Inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough with difficultly separated sputum - as part of complex therapy.
    Contraindications:Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug (including bee products), children's age (up to 1 year). Deficiency of sugar / isomaltase, intolerance to fructose, glucose-galactose malabsorption.
    Pregnancy and lactation:The drug can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding as agreed with your doctor.
    Dosing and Administration:Inside, squeezed a little water:
    children from 1 year to 6 years take 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) every 3-4 hours, but no more than 4 times a day;
    Children older than 6 years and teenagers 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) every 2-3 hours, but no more than 4 times a day;
    adults 1 tablespoon (15 ml) every 2-3 hours.
    Duration of the course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. An increase in the duration or appointment of a repeat course of treatment is possible after consultation with the doctor.
    Side effects:Allergic reactions are possible.
    Interaction:Do not use simultaneously with antitussive drugs and drugs that reduce the formation of sputum, as this makes it difficult to cough thinners sputum.
    Special instructions:The syrup contains carbohydrates, which must be taken into account for patients suffering from diabetes, as well as hypocaloric diet.
    1 teaspoon of syrup (5 ml) contains 1.81 g of carbohydrates. The patient receives a dose of 0.9 g (1/2 teaspoon) (corresponding to 0.075 bread units) to 5.43 g (1 tablespoon or 3 teaspoons) (corresponding to 0.45 bread units) of carbohydrates.
    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The drug has no effect on the ability to perform potentiallyhazardous activities requiring an increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including the management of vehicles, work with moving mechanisms).
    Form release / dosage:Syrup.
    Packaging:To 50, 100 or 250 ml in glass bottles of brown glass with a screwed plastic lid.
    Each vial with instructions for use in a cardboard box.
    Storage conditions:Store at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C in a package with a tightly closed lid. Keep out of the reach of children.
    Shelf life:Three years. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
