Composition:

Active ingredient:

valerian rhizomes with roots extract dry (3 - 6: 1) 160 mg, extractant - ethanol 62%;

lemon balm extract dry (4-6:1) 80 mg, extractant - ethanol 30%.

Auxiliary components of the kernel: sucrose 2.5 mg, crospovidone 15 mg, hydrogenated castor oil 23 mg, silicon dioxide colloid 11 mg, cellulose microcrystalline 67 mg, magnesium stearate 1.5 mg.

Auxiliary components of the shell: hypromellose 20.08 mg, cellulose microcrystalline 2.51 mg, stearic acid 2.51 mg, titanium dioxide, E 171 2.421 mg, indigo carmine lacquer, E 132 1.639 mg, talc 0.46 mg, vanillin 0.282 mg, sodium saccharinate 0.049 mg, defoaming emulsion in terms of dry substance 0.049 mg.

Description:

Tablets covered with a film shell, blue, uniform in shape, size and color. The core of the tablets is brown with inclusions from white to dark brown.

Pharmacokinetics:

Vegetable extracts of valerian and melissa contain a large number of biologically active substances, which together determine their pharmacological activity.Therefore, the data on the pharmacokinetics of the individual chemical components that make up the extracts are not sufficient for extrapolation to the preparation as a whole.

Indications:

Increased nervous excitability, insomnia (difficulty in falling asleep).

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, children under 6 years of age, liver failure.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Due to the lack of sufficient studies to date, the drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Dosing and Administration:

In the absence of other appointments by the attending physician, it is necessary to follow the instructions for the use of the drug Dormiplant.

When insomnia (difficulties in falling asleep): adults and children over 6 years old take 2 tablets 30 minutes before bedtime.

With increased nervous excitability: adults and children over 6 years old take 2 tablets in the morning and in the evening. The course of treatment up to 1,5-2 months.

Tablets should be taken orally, without chewing, with a small amount of water. The time of taking the drug does not depend on the time of eating.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible; disorders of the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, abdominal pain (incidence is unknown).

Overdose:Valerian root at a dosage of approximately 20 g can cause non-dangerous symptoms: fatigue, abdominal cramps, a feeling of heaviness in the chest, dizziness, hand tremors and dilated pupils that disappear 24 hours after drug withdrawal. If symptoms persist, symptomatic treatment is recommended.

Interaction:

The drug enhances the effect of hypnotics and other drugs that depress the central nervous system, as well as alcohol.

Special instructions:

In the absence of a therapeutic effect on the background of taking the drug for 2-3 weeks should consult with a doctor. Do not use the drug more than 1,5-2 months every day.

When using the drug, care should be taken when performing potentially dangerous activities requiring increased attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (driving and other vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, dispatcher and operator work, etc.).
