Composition:

For 1 tablet:

active substance: valerian rhizomes with roots extract dry (3 - 6: 1) 500 mg, extractant: ethanol 70%-one;

core excipients: microcrystalline cellulose 162.00 mg, castor oil hydrogenated 40.00 mg, croscarmellose sodium 30.00 mg, silicon dioxide precipitated 12.00 mg, magnesium stearate 6.00 mg;

shell auxiliary substances: cellulose microcrystalline 5.35 mg, stearic acid 5.35 mg, hypromellose 42.80 mg, titanium dioxide, E 171, 5.20 mg, indigo carmine lacquer, E 132, 3.50 mg, talc 1.00 mg, vanillin 0.60 mg, sodium saccharinate 0.10 mg, simethicone 0.092 mg, methyl cellulose 0.0077 mg, sorbic acid 0.0003 mg.

Pharmacodynamics:The drug is of plant origin, it has a sedative effect.

Pharmacokinetics:

Valerian extract contains a large number of biologically active substances, which together determine its pharmacological activity. Therefore, data on the pharmacokinetics of the individual chemical components that make up the extract, are not sufficient for extrapolation to the preparation as a whole.

Indications:

Increased nervous excitability, irritability, sleep disturbances, such as difficulty falling asleep, frequent nocturnal awakenings.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, age to 18 years (due to lack of sufficient information on the use of the drug in children).

Pregnancy and lactation:

Due to the lack of data, it is not recommended to take the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Dosing and Administration:

Tablets should be taken orally, without chewing, with a small amount of water.

In the absence of other appointments by the attending physician, it is necessary to follow the instructions for the use of the drug "Dormiplant-Valerian".

With increased nervous excitability, irritability: 1 tablet once a day.

The course of treatment is 4-6 weeks. On the recommendation of the doctor, the appointment of repeated courses of treatment.

For sleep disorders, such as difficulty falling asleep, frequent nocturnal awakenings: 1 tablet for half an hour - one hour before bedtime.

If symptoms persist for more than two weeks, it is recommended that you consult with your doctor.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible; drowsiness; decreased efficiency; disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, such as, nausea, abdominal pain (incidence is unknown); with prolonged use - constipation.

Overdose:

Possible drowsiness, decreased efficiency. Valerian root in a dosage of approximately 20 g can cause non-dangerous symptoms: fatigue, abdominal pain, dizziness, hand tremors and dilated pupils that disappear 24 hours after drug withdrawal. If symptoms persist, symptomatic treatment is recommended.

Interaction:

The drug enhances the effect of hypnotics, sedatives, tranquilizers and other drugs that depress the central nervous system, antispasmodics, and also ethanol, which requires correction of doses in a joint application.

Special instructions:

Do not take the drug more than 1,5-2 months every day.

During the period of treatment, it is necessary to refrain from driving vehicles and taking other potentially dangerous activities that require an increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
