Pharmacodynamics:

Combined herbal preparation; has metabolic, antispasmodic, antibacterial and antiseptic properties, reduces inflammation in the urinary tract and kidneys, increases diuresis, acidifies urine, increases the excretion of urea and chlorine, increases bile formation and bile secretion, promotes increased blood supply to the kidneys and liver, forms a protective colloid in the urine and normalizes the tone of the smooth muscles of the upper urinary tract and gallbladder, promotes the excretion of small concretions and sand from the bladder and kidneys.

Pharmacokinetics:

The drug is well absorbed, its effect begins in 20-30 minutes and lasts 4-5 hours. The maximum effect occurs in 1-2 hours. It is excreted through the digestive tract and kidneys.

Indications:

Nephrourolythiasis, cholelithiasis, pyelonephritis, cholecystitis, cholangiohepatitis, dyskinesia of the biliary tract.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, heartburn, nausea, diarrhea, gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.

Age before 6 years.

Do not use if the diameter of the kidney stones exceeds 3 mm.

With liver diseases, alcoholism, craniocerebral trauma, brain diseases.

Patients with diabetes mellitus, as well as patients with elevated levels of glucose in blood plasma should be cautious, using the drug in the form of a syrup. A single dose of the drug (5 ml) contains 0.38 carbohydrate units (4.5865 g sucrose).

Pregnancy and lactation:

It is not recommended to use the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding because of the lack of data on the safety of the drug in this category of patients.

Dosing and Administration:

Sublingually, 8-10 drops on a piece of sugar, 3 times a day, before meals. The course of treatment depends on the severity of the disease and lasts from 5 days to 1 month. With renal and hepatic colic, a single dose can be increased to 15-20 drops.

Side effects:

From the digestive system: nausea, diarrhea, heartburn.

Other: allergic reactions, dizziness.

Overdose:

Symptoms: may increase side effects (dizziness, nausea).

Treatment: conduct symptomatic therapy.

Significant interaction with other drugs has not been identified.

Special instructions:

The preparation contains 60% of ethyl alcohol. In the maximum single dose of the drug, the content of ethyl alcohol is 0.6 ml. In the maximum daily dose of the drug, the content of ethyl alcohol is 1.8 ml.

During the period of drug use, care should be taken when performing potentially hazardous activities,requiring special attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (vehicle management, work with moving mechanisms).
