Composition:

Active substance: The horse's gastric juice is 1 liter (at a content of pepsin not less than 0.03 g at a total acidity of 1-3 g (in terms of hydrochloric acid))

Auxiliary substance: Salicylic acid - 0,2-0,4 g.

Description:

Transparent colorless or slightly opalescent yellowish liquid with slightly acidic odor.

A.09.A.C.01   Pepsin and acid-containing preparations

Pharmacodynamics:

Enzyme preparation. Has a proteolytic effect. An animal product (gastric juice horses).

Contains all the enzymes of gastric juice. The content of free hydrochloric acid is 0.07-0.25%. As a preservative, the preparation contains salicylic acid 0.02-0.04%. The total acidity is 0.1-0.3%, pH 1.30-1.95.

Indications:

Achilia, hypo- and anacid gastritis, dyspepsia.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity.

Dosing and Administration:

Inside, 2-3 times a day during or after a meal. Adults - 15-30 ml (1-2 tablespoons), children under 3 years - 2.5-5 ml (0.5-1 teaspoon each), 3-6 years - 10 ml (2 teaspoonful spoons), 7-14 years - 10-15 ml (1 tablespoon each).

Side effects:

Heartburn. Allergic reactions.

When stored in a warm place, it quickly loses its activity.
