    Composition:

    100 g of the preparation contain:

    active substance: polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate 69.90 g;

    Excipients: purified water 29.90 g, sodium cyclamate (sweetener E-952) 0.14 g, sodium saccharinate (sweetener E-954) 0.06 g.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Enterosgel® has a porous structure of the organosilicon matrix (molecular sponge) of a hydrophobic nature, which is characterized by a sorption action with respect only to medium molecular toxic metabolites (lm from 70 to 1000). Enterosgel® has a pronounced sorption and detoxification properties.

    In the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract, the drug binds and removes from the body endogenous and exogenous toxic substances of various nature, including bacteria and bacterial toxins, antigens, food allergens, drugs and poisons, heavy metal salts, radionuclides, alcohol.The drug also sorbs some metabolic products of the body, including excess bilirubin, urea, cholesterol and lipid complexes, as well as metabolites responsible for the development of endogenous toxicosis.

    Enterosgel® does not reduce the absorption of vitamins and trace elements, it helps to restore the damaged intestinal microflora and does not affect its motor function.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    The drug is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, it is excreted unchanged for 12 hours.

    Indications:

    In adults and children as a detoxification agent:

    - acute and chronic intoxications of different origin;

    - acute poisoning with potent and poisonous substances, including drugs and alcohol, alkaloids, heavy metal salts;

    - acute intestinal infections of any genesis in the complex therapy (toxicoinfection, salmonellosis, dysentery, diarrheal syndrome of non-infectious origin, dysbacteriosis);

    - purulent-septic diseases, accompanied by severe intoxication, as part of complex therapy;

    - food and drug allergy;

    - Hyperbilirubinemia (viral hepatitis) and hyperazotemia (chronic renal failure);

    - with the aim of preventing chronic intoxications to workers of harmful industries (occupational intoxication with chemical agents of polytropic action, xenobiotics, incorporated radionuclides, lead compounds, mercury, arsenic, petroleum products, organic solvents, nitrogen oxides, carbon, fluorides, heavy metal salts).

    Contraindications:

    Children under 1 year of age, individual drug intolerance, intestinal atony, intolerance to sulfanilamide preparations.

    Pregnancy and lactation:Contraindicated in pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Enterosgel® paste is taken orally for 1-2 hours before or after eating or taking other medications, with water.

    It is recommended to stir the required amount of the drug in a glass in a triple volume of water at room temperature or take it by mouth with water.

    Dosage for adults - 15 g (1 tablespoon) or 1 packet 3 times a day. The daily dose of 45 g (3 packets).

    Children aged 5 to 14 years - 10 g (1 dessert spoon) 3 times a day.The daily dose of 30 g (2 packets).

    Children aged 1 to 5 years - 5 g (1 teaspoon) 3 times a day. The daily dose of 15 g (1 packet).

    For the prevention of chronic intoxications - 15 g (1 pack) 2 times a day for 7-10 days monthly.

    With severe intoxication during the first three days, the dose of the drug may be doubled.

    The duration of treatment for acute poisoning is 3-5 days, and for chronic intoxications and allergic conditions 2-3 weeks. Repeated course on the advice of a doctor.

    Side effects:

    Possible nausea, constipation, itching, hives. With severe renal and / or hepatic insufficiency, a feeling of disgust towards the drug may appear.

    Overdose:

    Cases of an overdose have not been revealed.

    Interaction:

    It is possible to reduce the absorption of other drugs while taking with Enterosgel®.

    Special instructions:

    The drug can be used in complex therapy with other drugs, while observing the rule of a time-divided intake of 1-2 hours before or after taking other medications.

    Packaging:

    In tubes of combined materials of 225 g of the drug or in packages of material of a combined two-layer on the basis of aluminum foil and a film of 15 g.

    Each tube or 10 bags, together with the instructions for use, are placed in a pack of cardboard.

    Storage conditions:

    Store at temperatures not lower than 4 ° C and not more than 30 FROM. Keep out of the reach of children. Protect from drying after opening the package. Protect from freezing.

    Shelf life:

    3 years.
