  • Pharmacodynamics:The drug has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory effect. It is intended for topical application in diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
    Indications:It is used in the complex therapy of diseases of the upper respiratory tract (bronchitis, inflammation of the nasal mucosa and pharynx).
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, bronchial asthma, whooping cough, false croup, hypersensitivity to the respiratory tract.
    For inhalation use - children under 5 years.
    For baths and grindings - children under 2 months.
    Do not use the preparation for grinding in the face (especially the nose) for infants up to 2 years.
    Do not use the preparation for grinding with damage to the skin, the presence of skin diseases in areas of its intended use, do not apply to mucous membranes.
    Contraindications to the appointment of baths: uncompensated diseases of the cardiovascular system (arterial hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmia, angina), fever (above 38 ° C) in infectious diseases.
    Pregnancy and lactation:Experience with the drug during pregnancy is absent. During breastfeeding, do not apply the product to the skin of the breast.
    Dosing and Administration:For grinding:
    In the absence of other prescriptions, it is recommended 2-3 times a day to apply an emulsion strip about 3-5 cm in length (for adults and children over 12 years), about 3-4 cm (for children aged 2 to 11 years) on the skin of the chest and Interlap area and rub it well. Children aged 2 months to 2 years are recommended to apply a strip of emulsion 2-3 cm long only on the interlip area and rub it well.
    For steam inhalations:
    In the absence of other prescriptions 2-3 times a day, a strip of emulsion about 4-6 cm long (adults and children over 12 years) is recommended, about 4 cm (children aged 5 to 11 years) add 1 -2 liters of hot water, mix and breathe steam under the towel.
    For baths (mainly used for children aged 2 months to 2 years):
    A strip of emulsion 8-10 cm in length is added to 20 liters of water at a temperature of 36-37 ° C (for children aged 2 months) or two emulsion stripes 10 cm long - 40 liters (for children from the age of 2 years), children bathe about 10 minutes. The baths are repeated until the symptoms disappear completely. During the week, you can take baths 3-4 times. In addition, if necessary, 2-3 times a day, the emulsion is rubbed into the skin of the breast and the interscapular region. In such activities, children are recommended bed rest.
    Side effects:

    Interaction:With simultaneous use with drugs, metabolism of which is carried out in the liver, it is possible to weaken the intensity or shorten the duration of the latter, components of eucalyptus oil, which is part of the drug, stimulate liver enzyme systems.

    If you mistakenly ingest it is possible to develop nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. In especially severe cases, headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, convulsions, suffocation, circulatory disorders, blood in the urine are possible. If these symptoms appear, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. With the development of seizures, 5-10 mg of diazepam is injected intravenously or short-acting barbiturates are used, or the stomach is washed (30 g of sodium sulfate per 250 ml of water).
    After using the drug, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
    After bathing, do not take a shower and rub yourself with a towel.
    Avoid contact with the eye.
    Water baths can only be used after consultation with a doctor.
